Trailers Week 117: 02/10/16

Doctor Strange
Benny Cumberbatch enters the world of mysticism in the new Marvel movie. It will be interesting to see how this fits in with the rest of the universe.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
In this trailer we get a better a look at some of the magical beasts as well as Colin Farrell's evil plan.

The Space Between Us
Ooh, who doesn't love the idea of a teen romantic science fiction adventure drama film. Yep those are all the genres that this film falls into. I guess they wanted to make a movie that would appeal to the broadest audience possible.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back
Tom Cruise is just refusing to stop doing action movies. Which is good because he's pretty awesome at them.

Desierto
Horror movies are always great when you know the monster isn't real. Wait, what? Rednecks who want to kill border jumpers are real? Okay well that's pretty terrifying.

Dog Eat Dog
Nic Cage and Willem Dafoe attempt to steal a baby. Of course those two are the right guys for the job. They'd never terrify a baby.

King Cobra
James Franco goes ahead and does what we all knew he'd end up doing; gay porn. Of course Christian Slater is the perfect person to play the ageing producer with a young star he wants to promote.

Rules Don't Apply
Just like that last trailer, this one's also about trying to become a star. Just by a more conventional method.

Coming Through the Rye
So because no one is allowed to make a film of Catcher in the Rye, this is the next best thing. Personally I don't see why anyone would want to make a movie of that book, but that's just me. And by the way, Alan Arkin has already played the best JD Salinger.

Paterson
Jim Jarmusch's new flick about a small town bus driver is sure to have twists and turns and an existential crisis or two.

Fences
Denzel looks like he's going to give a career performance in his adaptation of the award winning Broadway play. And just because I can, here's James Earl Jones' classic performance of that monologue.

Flock of Dudes (NSFW)
I don't think people realise how hard it is for guys to make friends when you get to a certain age. Everyone else already has friends or are married or are devoted to their jobs. It's just hard you know.
