Trailers Week 27: 11/01/15

Accidental Love
David O. Russell's comedy finished shooting in 2008, but sat in stasis for quite a few years. It is about a small town waitress who gets a nail lodged in her brain and leads to some unpredictable behaviour. Because she has no insurance, she goes to Washington to plead her case. Starring Jessica Biel, Jake Gyllenhaal, James Marsden, Catherine Keener and Tracy Morgan.

The Lazarus Effect
Scientists have figured out a serum that re-animates dead life. Whilst trying to bring a dog back from the dead, one of them dies. Her husband tries the formula on her, but it only ends up making her evil because of the things she saw on the other side. Starring Olivia Wilde, Mark Duplass, Donald Glover, Evan Peters and Sarah Bolger.

Hits
In this directorial debut from comedian David Cross, a small town man becomes famous online when he is thrown out of a town meeting for ranting about too many things. Some hipsters see this as injustice against him and begin a crusade to let him be heard. All the while, the man's daughter is trying to become famous. Starring Meredith Hagner, Matt Walsh, James Adomian and Jake Cherry.

Run All Night
Liam Neeson kills his old gangster associate's son and he wants an eye for an eye. Neeson must protect his son by being on the run all night. It makes no sense to me either. Get ready for Liam to gruffly shoot people and mumble a few words after it. Also starring Ed Harris and Joel Kinnaman.

The Atticus Institute
This horror movie goes a step beyond the found footage genre and goes full blown documentary style. It is about an institute that houses telekinetics, but one subject actually shows signs of possession.

We'll Never Have Paris
A young man who is trying to propose to his girlfriend all of a sudden finds out a model is in love with him. Against his wishes, they decide to have some time apart. Starring Simon Helberg, Melanie Lynskey and Zachary Quinto.

The Voices
Ryan Reynolds stars in this comedy about a man who starts killing people because his cat and dog tell him too. He also plays the voices of said cat and dog. Also starring Gemma Arterton, Anna Kendrick and Jacki Weaver.

Ant-Man
Last week we showed you the ultra-teaser trailer for the next Marvel movie, but since then we have been graced with a new one. This time we get some explanation from Michael Douglas, who plays the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym. Paul Rudd stars as criminal Scott Lang. Also starring Corey Stoll and Evangeline Lilly.
